Kristin Cavallari and her boyfriend are now engaged! Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler proposed to Cavallari while the couple vacationed in Mexico over the weekend after only 8 months of dating.

Cutler popped the question with some big help – a 5.2 carat diamond! Cavallari started dating Cutler last fall after being introduced by “E!” host Giuliana Rancic. Throughout the football season, they were frequently spotted together at some of Chicago’s most popular restaurants. Earlier this year, she gushed “I’m in love, and it’s been great.”Cutler has been reportedly planning to ask for her hand in marriage for a while.
